 Make your own fishing knife with this high-quality project kit.

The blade is in Swedish 12c27 Stainless steel.

The kit consists of 

• Brisa Fisher 110 blade, sharp and presicion ground
  
• Curly Birch Scales, Super grade (other woods available, see options)
• Vulcanized fibre spacer material (see options for colors)
• Optional: Corby bolts or steel/brass pins can be added

The knife kit can be completed with simple hand tools.

• Epoxy the handle scales to the knife blade, with fibre spacer between steel and wood
• Shape scales with belt sander, file or similar
• Smooth scales with sand paper, minimum to 1200 grit
• Optional: seal handle scales with oil, wax or similar

Stainless Steel blade, in Swedish 12c27 steel with a full flat grind by Finnish company Brisa.

These blades have a superior fit and finish, with precision ground edges and clean plunge lines.

The blade blank is 2.5 mm thick, about 18 mm high and has about 110 mm of blade.

The blade is made from the popular stainless steel 12c27 from Sandvik in Sweden that gives a combination of great edge retention and high corrosion resistance.

12c27 is often used in maritime environments and also in chef knives. 

Total length is 230 mm, including the full tang handle. The holes in the handle are 2 x 4,1mm, 2 x 4,65mm, 1 x 6,4mm, oval 3x10 mm.

To make a knife from this blade, add handle scales and spacer material between blade and handle scales.
