Chef Knife blade, 195 mm 

 Stainless Steel blade made in Japan, polished to a satin finish.

Light, well balanced and beautifully shaped. It is designed to be used often. 

This super tough and flexible blade has a full flat grind and a comfortable rounded handle.

The blade length is 195 mm, overall length is 313 mm and about 1.9 mm thick and about 41 mm wide.

These blades are a delight to handle, thin enough to be responsive and a great slicer. 

These blades are made are  from Stainless Steel, with a full flat ground .

 

To create a knife with this blade blank,

add some knife scales and optionally bolts/pins and some inlays between the steel and handle scales.

The gently curved handle shape makes this a great beginner project, being easy to shape.

    Exactly what I expected. A nice looking, ultra sharp blade. Cant wait to make a huon pine handle for it.
