Description
EnZo Piili 85 Folder
Top-shelf gentleman's folder from Finish maker EnZo:
"The result of our collaboration with the internationally awarded Finnish knife maker Jukka Hankala. A knife where every part, every angle play a role in the complete context. Not even the inside of the knive leaves unprocessed. In his modern, minimalistic design where the details will appear first after a closer look he brings the Finnish knife design to a new level. A true Gentlemans folder."
Exceptional build quality, Elmax powdered super steel, sleek and assertive lines. This folder has it all.
The blade is 3.25 mm thick, about 85 long and the scales are in black G10. The folder lies smaller in the hand than it appears in the photos, an elegant and strong tool built to last a life time.

Excellent knife with one serious flaw
There are so many things to like about this knife; it is beautiful to look at, the fit and finish is superb, the blade is tight with absolutely no play, the elmax steel blade is razor sharp, holds a wonderful edge and is very corrosion resistant and the scales have a lovely texture but there is one thing wrong. To open this knife one handed can be quite difficult and I think it's just because of where the thumb stud is. Maybe I have weak hands but I genuinely find it quite difficult to open the knife. Otherwise, this knife is perfect but that's a serious problem.

Beautifully designed and constructed
I collect, so I have a quite a few knives.
Most of my collection ranges between $400-$2000 but I do have less expensive knives. Tacops Falcon (brilliant, smoothest opening knife @ any price point) , Hella Fire (beautiful, polished blade and surprisingly practical), Hablis (rough yet practical in any situation) Anyway, I waffle!
This is my first Enzo knife and I am impressed with the build quality. Mine is perfectly centred and the frame is also precise with no gaps in the stainless steel frame or liner. The blade is sharp. The design is Scandinavian simplicity but with a heavy and articulate masculine feel.
Complaints? The thumb stud is too small and it doesn't open quick enough. That's about it!
This is a beautiful designed and built knife. Highly recommended at this price.
