Fighter Bowie, Stainless Steel.

Blade is 4.6 mm thick, 38 mm at the widest, and about 190 mm long with a brass guard already fitted.

The newly redesigned Hidden Tang Fighter is a concept design that is modeled around the traditional bowie with upper clip. This type of design is perfect for use with a full handle. The blade is 440SS and is 1-1/2" wide at its widest point. The blade length is 7-1/2" inches and the thickness is .180" inches. It comes hollow ground, satin finished and has a pre-pinned brass guard attached. The fit and finish of the base blade and guard are excellent.

This is a great blade value for beginning to intermediate kit building and will provide hours of learning experience and fun as you build this hidden tang design. This design is a fun and simple project to complete. The tang has 1 pre-drilled .200" inch hole in it for handle fastening.

This blade comes in a custom gift box, and is produced in China.

I found the blade to be 'work ready' and was easy to fit to a selected piece of antler handle. it did not take long to put a 20 degree edge to the blade. the end product has already been put to good /practical use.
